How can I go about putting keywords throughout my profile to help me become more visible to recruiters and hiring managers?

Thank you for your question. It is laudable that you already know the importance of keywords in your LinkedIn profile. As to how to go about placing keywords in your profile, I would say, first find the keywords. Look at job requirements that need people with your kind of qualification and experience; look at ads for relevant jobs; and also look at profiles of people with a similar background as yours. Make a list of the keywords you find. You now need to sprinkle those keywords throughout your profile in a strategic manner. Also use relevant keywords when writing your professional headline and job title. For instance, if you are a project manager, you can add the kind of projects you do in your headline. Follow the same procedure for job title. And then go on to strategically place the keywords in other sections of the profile: your summary, job descriptions, interests and so on. At Linked Career Growth we go a step ahead. We search the keywords on google adwords and with our proprietor tool we are able to see which keyword has the maximum relevance so the SEO is implemented at the highest level! Recruiters, hiring managers & those decision makers will soon find you. All the best!
